Personal narrative!

I have been working in the insurance industry since shortly after getting off active duty with the Navy in the 70's and we have been in Colorado Springs for almost 19 years now.  I'm the branch manager for Van Gilder's Colorado Springs office.

My wife Cheryl is an educational consultant, working nationally, and internationally teaching teachers effective strategies for helping kids learn to read.  She was the Outstanding Early Childhood Teacher for The Disney Channel in 1993 and I am very proud of her!

Our older daughter, Sarah, completed her Bachelor of Architecture degree last year at Southern Cal and is now working to become licensed.  She has worked for a firm in Washington DC, but thinks she likes the winters in Southern California more than those in DC.

Crystal, our younger daughter is finishing her second engineering degree at Mines next year.  She has already earned a BA in Engineering Physics with a Business/ Economics Minor from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, already. She wants to be on the business side of civil structural engineering, rather than design.

I have been blessed with a wonderful family.

You all take care and have a great reunion.  Thank you to all for the terrific efforts in organizing and hosting the reunion.
