| Lunch with "Miss Penrose"!! | Did you take Home Economics
in High School? If yes, do you want to complain about your grade? Do
you want to know why your cake did'nt raise like it was suppose to? Now is
your chance to ease these concerns and find out the real answers!! Jean Penrose Sundborg, the Home Economics teacher, will be in Denver January 11th -14th, 2012 for a family wedding. Although she will be busy much of that time with wedding festivities, she is available to get together with members of the Class of '64 who remember her. Please email Peggy Malchow Sass at peregrina7@msn.com if you are interested in seeing Ms. Penrose. Peggy can give you additional information. |

There were some new faces (i.e. first time attendees), but unfortunately, no one brought a camera - so no pictures are available. Will try to do a better job next year! |

The Reunion Committee decided to carry on the tradition of having a class reunion every five years. Because of the economy, and the fact we want to have a "big blow-out" for our 50th reunion, a "no-frills" 45th Class Reunion was held. Many positive comments were received, with many of them saying this was the best, and most relaxing reunion, to-date. |

LHS classes of 1964 - 1969 were invited to join the LHS Class of '67 for reminiscing and dancing as they took us back to the good old days of Wigwam! Music was provided by the "New Mobile Strugglers"; which includes '67 classmates Steve Simpson, Marylen Lyons (Willey) and Bob Moore. LHS classes of 1964 - 1969 were also invited to join the Class of '67 Saturday night dance featuring Paul Abeyta and the Meteors. |

The Elks hosted a 50's/60's dance featuring the Meteors (see below). The price included hamburgers, fries and malts. Class of '64 alumni and spouses attended from Arvada, Berthoud, Denver, Drake, and Loveland. A similar size contingent attended from the Class of '65. The music was awesome, the dance floor was full, and a great time was had by all! |

LHS Class of '65 - 40th Reunion All LHS classes were invited to join the Class of '65 for reminiscing. During the evening, we witnessed the first stop of "The Meteors' Reunion Tour". Orin Matthews, Paul Abeyta, and Freddie DeSmith (original Meteors) were joined by Carol Mayberry Sanchez on the keyboard as they took us back to the good old days of Tepee and Wigwam! |

A musical reunion concert! Jan Camp Garrett (Class of '62) and her musical partner and husband, acclaimed singer songwriter JD Martin, were the headliners. The opening act featured "The Return Of The Marquee Trio". (Bill Bliss, Jim Marean and Steve Gamet) - Class of '62. This was a treat - especially enjoyed by many classmates who remember these guys. |
