We added an
essay to Dennis Cressey's entry. It is a first person account of
an actual mission Dennis was part of - just 5 weeks before he was shot
down. It was written by his Squadron Commander who now lives in
Greeley. The author added, at the end of his essay, some
information about Dennis's last flight.
We
added an update submitted by Judy
Bridgeman Oscarson Thank you Judy for taking the
time to keep in touch with your high school classmates. And thanks
to John Deets who took the time to track down Judy so we could take her
off the Truant Alumni list And Judy, we would love to add a
current photo of you to your Chieftain Update. If you have one you

We've received
our second Chieftain update from a former teacher. Mr. Tom Bittner
sent this update just prior to the 45th reunion. It was posted at
the picnic. For those who missed it, or were not able to attend,
we have included it as part of this web site. Check out the before
and after pictures. Mr. Bittner obviously has a sense of humor!
We
added updates submitted by Neal Bucker,
Kent Sullivan and Doug Powell. Thanks guys for taking the
time to keep in touch with your high school classmates. Also added
updated photos for individuals attending the 45th reunion.
Information
received from Gordon Rose's sister indicates that Gordon Rose passed
away some time ago probably from a heart condition. Will add
information as it is received.
Added a brief update received from

We have our first teacher Chieftain Update!
Miss Jean Penrose (Sundborg) - age 70 - of the Home and Family Life
department (i.e. Home Economics) e-mailed Peggy Malchow (Sass) an
incredible update, in response to our reunion invitation, that we just had to put on the web site.
This
is a must read!
Check it out! Now if we can get a current photo of Miss Penrose
her update would be complete!
Added updates
submitted by Evelyn Swartz Walker and Linda Singleton Woodward.
Thanks to both "young ladies" for taking the time to keep in touch with
their high school classmates. Now all we need is a current photo
of Linda. (Linda, since you are not attending the reunion,
you need to send us a current photo! We want to see that South
Carolina tan!)
Added update
from Sandy Bell Carlson. Thank you Sandy for taking
the time to get in touch with your high school classmates. Now all
we need is a current photo - so we can see what a retired school
librarian looks like! (We will get one at the 45th reunion.
She will be there!)
We changed the name of the "Loveland Links" page so we could include
links to other web sites that may be of interest to some of you
"old-farts". If you love old cars - check out the car ads from the 50's
and 60's.
We also added a link to the "ColoradoTOWN" website. When you get to the
site, select "Loveland" from the list of 300 Colorado towns. You
can view 3 different videos about Loveland's history , as well as learn what's
going in the city by clicking on "Loveland Calendar" (Our "Reunion
Class Mixer is the July 24th entry.) |

The entire site has a new look and

do! The original site had grown beyond the capacity of the

update and can be expanded significantly, provided we receive more
memorabilia! We are interested in your feedback! We want to
make this site as fun and enjoyable to use as possible.

The December mass e-mail regarding
the Christmas luncheon resulted
in several e-mails being returned. Accordingly, the bad e-mail
addresses have been removed. In addition, some individuals have
notified us of changed e-mail addresses, and some have provided an
e-mail address for the first time. Also, Ron Bland, Linda Singleton, Denise Melick and Sue Trethewey have moved to different cities. All
changes are noted in the far right column of the directory.
(If your e-mail address has changed in
the last few months - make sure the directory has the current address!) |
